In this Pshat shiur for the Aggadeta of Berachot 7b, we will discuss the source for the concept of Shimush shel Torah in the Nach's description of the Navi Elisha. How do we prove that shimush is even greater than formal learning? In the second part of this shiur we will discuss the significance of synchronizing one's prayer at home - if he cannot make it to the synagogue - with the prayers of the Tzibbur. Why does the sugya need two verses to establish this principle?
