Description

in this shiur on Hilchos Purim we will address the following question: are the normal laws of נזיקין, i.e. damages apply on Purim? If within the context of Simchas Purim one inadvertently damaged someone's body or possessions, is the Mazik held responsible and must compensate the Nizak, or are the normal laws that govern Nezikin suspended in lieu of Simcha shel mitzvah? If the laws of Nezikin are indeed suspended, is this because of an assumed מחילה, or because of a special Takana alleviating damage claims?
