Description
We continue our study of the Pachid Yitzchok for Purim with Inyan 6 & 7. Two entities can be identical externally and yet below the surface the two are worlds apart. The similarity engenders the difference. The paradigm of this concept is the Avodas HaSeirim of Yom HaKippurim. The two goats are identical yet polar opposites. Yaakov & Esau are identical in the love of Yitzchok but separated by worlds via the Berachot of Yitzchok. Is the goal of Purim to equate Baruch Mordecha with Arur Haman, when we reach a state of drunkenness? Or is it the recognition that the two are worlds apart as expressed by the central "pizmon" of Purim, i.e. Shoshanas Yaakov?
