We will study the second essay of the 'Pachad Yitzchok' on Purim. The Nation of Israel is the nation of 'avadim' who serse the Master. How and when did we become Avadim & how & when did we receive the revelation of the Will of the Master of the Universe, preparing our people to fulfill our 'avdus' by implementing His will? In this essay the Pachad Yitzchok creates two groups, two categories, of enemies of the Jewish Nation. The four Kingships who subjugate us & remove our status as 'avdei Hashem'; and the 7 nations of Can'an who want to block our ability to implement the Will of the Master in His Land. What is the special role of Mitzrayim and Amalek? Why are these called 'Reishis"? This essay will shed a new light on the miracle of Purim.
