Description

With regard to Tefilla and mitzvot, when there is a definite time allotment - the act must be performed within a definite time zone - what determines the Kiyum BeZmana, the beginning on the Tefilla (or mitzva), or the end of the Tefilla (or mitzva)? We will analyze the cases of Tefillas HaYachid & Chazaras HaShatz, the case of Birchat HaMazon with regard to mentioning the day when he began his Seudah during the day, the case of Shachris on Yom Kippur after the 4th hour, the case of a seudas Chasan that began before nightfall on the 7th day, a mitzva that was begun by one person but completed by another. We will study a group of Teshuvos & try to come to some conclusion. We will classify mitzvot as either maaseh mitzva or Totza'at haMaaseh.
