Description

NOTE: Due to problems with the shul’s PA system, a hum is heard throughout the entire shiur. We apologize for the inconvenience. There are no new tragedies that befall the Jewish People. All of our woes stem from the tragedy of the destruction of the Holy Temple. The gates of tefillah (prayer) are locked but the gates of crying are not locked. Real tears that drop from a Jew can penetrate a powerful mechitza (barrier) if they fall on the same place. The Beis Hamikdash (the Holy Temple) will not be rebuilt at night because we cannot see another Jew's suffering. Reb Yitzchak Vorka and the Ocean of Tears containing all the tears shed by Jews throughout the ages. Torah leaders opposed establishing a new day of national mourning.
