Description

There are ten differences between Tishah B'Av and other fasts. All other fasts remember events that befell the Jewish people. During Tishah B'Av we cry over the situation that we are presently in. We have fallen to a lowly state where we do not feel the divine presence. Our avodah (job) of Tishah B'Av is to refuse to give in to the lowliness of exile.
