Description

Hashem gives the gift of forgiving to the Chosson (groom) and Kallah (bride) for their sins on their wedding day. There are two types of sinners, one who is usually good and one who is walking in the wrong path. Our mistake is that we think we are in the first category but we are really in the second. During slichos we should open ourselves up to Hashem’s gifts. Slichos is us returning and trying again with Hashem, and we should take full advantage of the opportunity.
