Description

There are differing opinions on whether Tisha B'Av was observed during the Second Temple period. One opinion states that it was a day of tefillah (prayer) and crying to prevent a potential second destruction. Tisha B'Av will be a day of celebration after Moshiach comes. As long as even one Jew is asking "Eicha?" (How?) then we need Tisha B'Av. It is possible to be on such a level of brokenness that even good news would not make a person happy. Just ten Jews who sincerely want Moshiach could bring him.
