Description

We may be very angry now about unfortunate events, but eventually Hashem will reveal the blessing behind them. We owe hoda'ah (thanks) to Hashem for every step we take. When a Jew seeks Hashem, Hashem seeks that Jew. The Greeks were the kingdom of darkness whose goal was to darken the spiritual light of the Jews, who at the time were lax in keeping halacha (Jewish Law). Chanukah is our last reminder not to be sad in galus (exile), and to give thanks for all the miracles that we both see and do not see.
