Description

P. 204. We build up the power of thinking, but once we acquire it, we have to know how to let it go. Every Jew has an antenna for nevua (prophecy). The 100 gates that Yitzchak received are connected to the 100 brachos (blessings) that we say every day. We have to learn the way of the neviim (prophets). Chochma (wisdom) is a prerequisite, a gate, to nevua. Without cultivating deep thinking, we cannot proceed to the higher levels. The book 'Kol HaNevua' written by the Nazir, Rabbi David HaCohen is about the art of Jewish listening, of becoming a navi. If the mind is busy, it cannot receive. To reach the pnimi (inner), we first have to reach quiet.
