P. 183. Does my giving truly come from deep within myself. Giving all day long , and yet, empty inside. I can only give, in ruchnius (spirituality), what I have in my spiritual bankaccount, the wealth inside myself. Did I provide my child with a derech (path)? And if I didn't, what does it mean that he went "off the derech?" Refining and nullifying our need to receive. We must establish a place of quiet for ourselves where it simply doesn't matter what others think about us. Be all that you can be.
