Description

Note from the Audio Division "staff:" The first half of this shiur should be required listening for anybody who is about to get married, or thinking about getting married. There is a fundamental change in emotional outlook required in moving from being a single person to becoming a life-partner -- From bachelor to husband - the requirement for a different mindset. Marriage means contending with a new reality. When we are unable to let go of our pre-marital emotional state. Groomed from childhood to be a mother. How do I perceive myself. The critical question: How do we adjust to major, permanent changes in our lives. The difference in routine between a person at home and a person in a hospital as a patient. In general, we identify with the physical part of our lives. Accepting the reality of who I am rather than holding on to some physcial need. We don't DO things that are Jewish, we ARE Jews.
