Description

Thinking that every second could be my last is empowering. How would we relate to life if we knew that we only had thirty days to live? The understanding of life's gifts are most appreciated by those who have tasted death. We cannot use the gift of life if we are immobilized by the fear of death. Thinking about the end helps make this life more meaningful. Ends and deadlines create a sense of urgency, and where there is urgency there is creativity. It is a terrible mistake to live a lifestyle of constantly buying more. Materialism needs to be uprooted from our nefesh (soul). It is easier to live life in the direction of the nekudas haemes (the point of truth), and not in the other direction.
