Description

We do not understand the essence of the tov (good) that Hashem does for us. Hashem gives us tov according to His definition of tov, not our limited definition of it. We feel closeness to someone who does good to us. Talking about something is not the same as tasting it. Like an eved (indentured servant), we often would rather sacrifice comfort for true freedom and responsibility. A sod is a secret that cannot be expressed in words. A tzaddik really knows that everything that Hashem does is tov. Hashem wants to give us infinite tov.
