Attachment and integration with our Creator is true love that is not dependent on anything. A Jew must know with absolute certainty that Hashem's love for us is not dependent on anything. Unconditional love is based on “Hashem, the Torah, and Yisrael are one.” The world cannot exist without the Jewish people or limud (learning) Torah. Until we sense the connection of our neshamah Hashem and the Torah, our love can only be conditional.
