Description

Ratzon (will) without pleasure is called “the slingshot in this world.” Every one of us undergoes suffering of unfulfilled ratzon. Building the structure of ratzon is the true entry into the world of avodas (serving) Hashem. Often we have a superficial desire to get closer to the Creator, but no inner desire. We are fortunate if we know that we suffer unfulfilled longing since we are serving Hashem by davening (praying) or learning.
