Description

p 210. When we are learning Torah, we are separated from the physical. All subjects in Torah are big and important. The yichus (lineage) of a Jew is to never give up. We learn Torah in order to fulfill it. The taivas (lusts) in this world cover up the Torah that is in our neshamos (souls). When we learn Torah deeply, we peel off and smash the klipos (shells). Learning secular subjects does not affect the nefesh. Learning halacha takes us to what Hashem wants. In the last 300 years, Hashem has sent tzaddikim into the world who have opened up the Torah for the masses. The more we review a piece of Torah, the greater it becomes.
