Description

p 206. A person who fulfills the mitzvah of Shtaim Mikre Echad Targum (Two Readings in Hebrew, One In Translation) will have a long life. The Torah has three levels: the revealed, hidden, and the beyond. The Neviim (Prophets) only saw this world, not the World The Come. The letter Vav is the letter of the month of Iyar, and the letter of truth which can turn the past into the future and the future into the past. The Torah means instruction, teaching a deeper meaning, and direction. The Torah is called a tree because Torah is rooted in Hashem. Targum (the Aramaic translation of the Torah) helps to explain Torah to the masses. The language of a nation is the essence of that nation.
