Description

p 173. Moshe was the third child and was connected to yosher (straightness) and emes (truth). The Torah was given in the month of Sivan, the third month of the year. Extremes are separation and destruction. The free-will being by nature has difficulty admitting that he needs Hashem. The tefillah of a poor person goes right in. Torah and mitzvos help us to be on the straight path to Hashem. We reach dveykus through doing halacha. Everything in life follows the pattern of gadlus-kitnus-gadlus (expansion-restriction-expansion). Rachamim (compassion) is working hard while also being given gifts.
