p 171. Dveykus (bonding) happens when two things are similar. The Torah is yosher (just and straight). Simcha (inner joy) comes from living life from the essence of who we are, according to the Torah. The ultimate purpose of life is yashrus, emes (truth), and dveykus to Hashem, not happiness. When we are in despair, we should meditate on the greatness of being a Jew. The ones who laugh hardest are in the most pain. The books of NaCh (Prophets and Writings) show us that Hashem runs the world through chesed. The wisdoms of this world are not eternal, only the wisdom of the Torah. We have access to yosher through learning Torah. Even the best doctor goes to Gehinnom.
