Description

p 149. There are many paths that look more interesting and fascinating that Torah, but they won't get a Jew to the goal. Torah is that only path that can bring us to dveykus (bonding) with Hashem. Torah comes from the word hora'ah, which means guidance and instruction. Amalek's main interest is in preventing Jews from putting Torah chochma (wisdom) into actual practice. The scholars among the non-Jewish nations can only be relied on for information about the physical world. Each mitzvah is a tikkun (rectification) for a human limb or organ. A bris (covenant) has three aspects: the one who gives it, the one who accepts it, and the event done to solidify it.
