Description
p 141. Our avodah (spiritual work) is to draw the neshama (soul) back to its source. In a circle, every step away is a step toward the point of origin. Every mitzvah we do peels away what separates us from Hashem. Dveykus only happens with resemblance. If a husband and wife stop sharing the same light, there is no shalom bayis (peace in the home). The differences between Jews are purely superficial. Young Jews today have less Jewish historical identity than in the past. A Jew is like Hashem's twin. It is impossible to resemble Hashem while doing the opposite of what Hashem wants.
