Description

p 119. The B'nei Noach, those who follow the Seven Mitzvos, guard the seder (order) of the physical world. The greater the person, the greater the risk of falling, thus the Jewish people have more negative mitzvos. Wine is a spiritual drink because it has a relationship to the intellect and emotions, not just the body. Leitzanus (silliness) sweetens the opposition during great moments of unity. A Jew needs extra help to draw out his high-level neshama. When something is pure, it can conquer the world. When physical life falls apart, the neshama (soul) can be more easily heard.
