p 74. The 365 negative mitzvos (commandments) maintain the order of earth-bound life while the 248 positive mitzvos cause us to rise above. Gentiles have seven mitzvos which bind them to this world. The Neviim (prophets) would rebuke the Jewish people regarding not transgressing mitzvos through the language of this world. Only through the study and observance of Torah does the world exist. Everything in creation is made of the Hebrew letters. Chazal (the Rabbis) knew that the roots of all sickness have a G-dly source and can be healed through Torah. As we come closer to Mashiach, there is a greater interest in the underlying reasons behind things. The positive mitzvos conform to the form of Adam (man).
