Description

p 34 This world was created incomplete so that we can achieve our potential. Hashem wants us to struggle and choose, not to be malachim (angels). The Jewish people cannot function properly without the non-Jews. We are the mind of the world, and the world needs to be guided by a healthy mind to be healthy. Each nation has a spiritual root represented by a sar (ministering angel). Though Jews and non-Jews appear the same from the outside, we have completely different purposes. We are children of Neviim (Prophets). We have a sublime and mysterious inclination toward G-dliness. There has to be a nation in this imperfect world which is above the physical and has the capability for perfection. We the Jewish people are that nation.
