Description
P. 85 in Raza D'Shabbos, Rav Eliyah Weintraub, zt'l's piece on Tevila L'Mikveh B'Erev Shabbos. The poskim say to tovel (dip) in the mikveh before Shabbos, to enter into a state of tahara (purity). When Hashem initially separated the waters, it was a preparation of the revelation of chochma (wisdom) in the world, and was ultimately for the Jewish people many generations later. The mikveh has this power of this third day of Creation. The creation of Adam (man) is the tikkun (fixing) of the destructive power of water. People who are not connected to the real tachlis (ultimate point) in life will find other tachlisim to follow. 'Tov Meod' (very good) could only be said on Shabbos. Water is the opposite of Oneness.
