Description

13th shiur based on Rav Avraham Yitzchok Kluger's "Nezer Yisroel - Sichos Ma'amarim" Volume 1, p. 308 In the essay: Ziv HaShabbos, section: "Hateshuvah L'ohr Shabbos Kodesh" Shabbos is the source of all brachah (blessing), and the teshuvah (repentance) of Shabbos is on a higher level than week-day teshuvah. Two options when we feel a distance from Hashem. The built-in, monthly renewal and opportunity to improve and start again. Don't think about the details of what made you fail; rather, think about how you can come closer to the king. Despite everything, a Jew spends his life in the beis haMelech (King's palace). Bringing more light (and less depression) into our lives. If a person truly wants to change his lfe, he absolutely will receive help min hashamayim (from above). Doing everything b'or (in the light of) Hashem and always feeling godliness.
