Description

9th shiur based on Rav Avraham Yitzchok Kluger's "Nezer Yisroel - Sichos Ma'amarim" Volume 1, p. 288 In the essay: Ziv HaShabbos, section: "Klum Chasser B'Veis HaMelech." The absolute and honest feeling of just wanting to be with the King is itself a segula (portend) for redemption and healing. Am I really going to the King to be near Him, or for the fringe benefits? On Shabbos, is everything else truly forgotten? It cannot merely be a trick to look good in the eyes of the King. Engaging our internal polygraph to avoid self-deception. The "sincere" rashah (evil person). A sincere desire to be this loyal and good servant of the king. We must ask and beg Hashem to acquire a broken heart and great humility so that we can approach Him properly.
