Description

Da’as (knowledge) links together teshuva illa’ah and teshuva tachta’ah. Tzadikim habehirim (righteous people who can see clearly) perceive everything as good. Tzadikim habihirim view all evil and suffering as a false mask. Those of us who can only perceive a limited level of G-d’s light are sickened by evil. However tzadikim habehirim understand that evil is necessary to dim the light of G-d. Tzadikim habehirim are only pained because they see us suffering. The reshaim (wicked people) will be punished because they caused tzadikim (righteous people) to suffer.
