Description

Teshuva ila’ah (the higher form of repentance) is a deeply personal teshuva (repentance) which no one else has to know about. Teshuva tachta’ah (lower teshuva) is helping other become better. Teshuva ila’ah can actually impact the world more greatly than teshuva tachta’ah. For some people teshuva ila'ah entails general conceptualization, while for others it entails great attention to details. A person who is truly engaged in teshuva ila'ah feels that Judaism is liberating, and not at all restricting.
