Description

Many of us are lax in our tefillahs (prayers) because we believe that, due to our sins, they are ineffective. The humiliation caused by our sins can actually help improve our tefillahs. When we realize that we are really not worthy of anything we automatically thank Hashem for everything He bestows. Haughtiness is the root of most fights. A silly bad remark can cause us to overlook years of kindness.
