Description

A deficiency in will-power or physical strength can negatively influence our spiritual well being. Proper diets, schedules, sleeping habits, and all other lifestyle choices are important for avodas Hashem (service to G-d.) Idealism is the will of a strong nefesh (soul) which is often encumbered by the physical body’s desires. Teshuvah (repentance) weakens our physical desires and enables our ideals to naturally shine. We must gently erase our negative traits while concentrating on the value of our positive traits. We must never allow teshuvah to depress us.
