With strong desire we can overcome all of the 24 things listed in the Rambam that delay teshuvah (repentance). Our teshuvah will work even if a bas kol (heavenly voice) tells us that it will not. We mustn't lose the opportunity of partial teshuvah from the despair of doing complete teshuvah. All thoughts of teshuvah join together.
