Description

No midah (trait) is intrinsically bad. All midos and thoughts come from a holy place, but get sidetracked. By fixing our midos (traits) and thoughts correctly, we fix the world. In his nineties, Rav Aryeh Leib Shteineman journeyed around the world to encourage Jewish communities. Everything about a tzaddik (righteous person) shines with the light of gadlus (greatness). Rav Moshe Shmuel Shapira studied Torah serenely at night when he didn't know where his yeshiva would go the next morning. A Jew should always aspire to greatness.
