If a Jew is really humble he is able to rejoice in greatness of Hashem. When someone is pashut (simple) he is without limit and connects to that which is infinite. A conceited person is very tied to physicality and is distanced from Hashem. Humility and Torah are one thing. Discussion of egotistical "Rabbis" making games with Hashem's Torah.
