Description

Teshuvah (repentance) in the sechel (intellect) fills us with infinite light. Fear of retribution and knowledge of halachos (laws) brings one to teshuvah in the sechel. Teshuvah is initially painful but ultimately very joyous. Transforming evil is the highest level. We can achieve new heights specifically when we fall to low places. Sudden and gradual teshuvah is a long process but brings stability. Sudden teshuvah comes as a flash of realization of the truth.
