We now need kabbalah to preserve Judaism. Chutzpah (brazenness) is prevalent in our generation because nobody is addressing spiritual questions. We must explain the reasons, including the kabbalistic ones, behind religious practice. Teshuvah (repentance) works on the three levels of nature, faith and intellect. Aveiros (sins) cause an imbalance in the physical world. The return to natural eating is a reflection of spiritual teshuvah.
