Description

8th Perek, piece 6. There are two areas of learning: (1) Where the learning is directly about Elokus (G-dliness) and (2) Where it is not directly about Elokus, and can thus feel less important to the learner. There is a benefit to studying subjects outside of Torah which broaden the mind and beautify a person's perspective, within the proper boundaries by the right people. Many tzaddikim were masters of the wisdoms of the world. 9th Perek, piece 1. In learning, we should learn what our heart desires because that indicates the root of our neshama (soul). We must be strong and stay connected to what we desire in learning. Even the most 'mundane' study in Torah is filled with the hidden dew of life.
