Description

Continuing in Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Morgenstern's piece on learning Torah. In davening (prayer) we should ask for help in making set times for learning. The Jews who sit at kivrei (graves of) tzaddikim for years reading Tehillim are standing guard for the Jewish people. A person who sticks to his set time for learning discovers a deeper part of himself. When we are faithful to Torah, the Torah is faithful to us. If we a feeling like we have no purpose in life, we are probably lacking a daily schedule of learning and are not connecting our Torah to tefillah. The simcha (joy) of life comes from Torah, not entertainment.
