Description

From Oros Ha'techia (para 48). The Oral Torah is called "chayei olam" (eternal life) and is implanted within us. Since the destruction of the Beis Hamikdash we feel only a very faint connection to Hashem because of the darkness that covers shamayim (the heavens). Our whole way of looking at Torah has become darkened and small even though we try to follow its commandments as much as possible. Torah is not only the 4 cubits of sitting and studying - it's EVERYTHING in our lives. What our children find exciting, rather than halachah (Jewish law). Opening our children's hearts to the beauty of Torah. So close to Moshiach, we demand answers, and we and our children want to understand! We must show our children the beauty and relevance of Torah, especially now. Having the world at my fingertips, through the Internet, world-travel, or the Blackberry - an addiction that comes from our longing for the pnimius (inner essence) of Torah.
