Description
It is not possible to learn Rav Kook's Oros haTorah without delving into the sefer (book) Nefesh HaChaim. Since Torah, the Jewish People and Hashem are connected, a Jew can cling to Hashem via His Torah. Hashem thought of the Jewish People before creating this world. The Radomsker Rebbe says that we should pray to Hashem to reveal to us the recognition when a Jew falls away from His Torah. The first mitzvah- to have children- and the last mitzvah- to write a sefer Torah- are integrally related. In the merit of Jews learning Torah, the world does not disintegrate into total chaos. The Satmar Rebbe was crying to the Chazon Ish about the rashaim (evil people) in Eretz Yisrael and the obligation to run away from them. The Chazon Ish answered that the "yeshiva" was the place of refuge.
