Description

What is the difference between the Tzaddik (righteous individual) and Rabbanim (Rabbis)? The chassidim view the Rebbe as being able to connect heaven and earth. In order for us to be a vessel to receive blessings, we have to lower ourselves to the Tzaddik (righteous individual). The mistake of Korach was that he did not nullify himself to Moshe. A Rebbe needs a Talmid the same way a nursing mother needs a baby to continue to nurse. Subjugation to the Tzaddik doesn't depend upon academic knowledge.
