R. Yaakov Yitzchok wanted to restore basics in Chassidus in Poland which he thought was being lost after the death of the Baal Shem Tov. Reb Yaakov Yoseph developed the concept of the tzadik as the conduit for spirituality to the masses and the interdependency of the two. He arouses the antagonism amongst the Chassidim. The 4 areas which sparked the controversy.
