Yitzchak brought yirah (fear of Hashem) into our world through his supreme efforts. He introduced Minchah which reminds us who is really in control. If we  activate the koach ( power) of Mincha then we can remove the past and reveal the light of Hashem's knowledge in this world. We only have free choice before a sin is committed. Teshuvah can change the past by revealing the light of Hashem's knowledge turning aveiros into mitzvos. Yitzchak Avinu has given us the power to remember that all our efforts exist only if they are the will of Hashem. We can give back everything- even our aveiros. Even though a Jew may commit a sin, we are not evil at the core.
