Description

Reb Simcha Bunim of Pshischa taught lessons through games of chess. Reb Simcha Bunim became a Pharmacist so he could spend more time with his rebbe (teacher) the Yid Hakodesh. Reb Simcha Bunim’s occupation as a physical healer taught him lessons about healing people spiritually. After the Yid Hakodesh was niftar (died) Reb Simcha Bunim related a parable which indicated that he was the one who should succeed the Yid Hakodesh as Rebbi. The students of the Yid Hakodesh unanimously chose Reb Simcha Bunim as their new Rebbi.
