We can wake up a Jew oblivious to the 70 faces of the Torah by telling stories. Reb Nosson explains in Likutei Moharan that the evil kingdom of Greece wanted us to forget the Torah by falling asleep. When we are bored and don't care about anything we fall asleep. The Menorah has eight lights from before the world was created which awakensus to be able to see the 70 faces of Torah again. The longer the galus (exile), the greater the danger of staying asleep. Story of the Jewish People comes from a place higher than the world which is the story of Chanukah. The candle of the Jewish People is never extinguished. Listening to Rebbe Nachman's stories help women to have children who are barren.
