Description

We have to learn Torah with the emuna (belief) that it is a message from our neshama (soul). We should seek out messages from G-d by asking ourselves: "Why did I end up in this Yeshiva?" Why am I drawn to this particular safer (holy book)?" It is unusual for anything to be valued amidst opulence. The wooden pillars in the Beis Hamikdash (temple) were merely plated with gold to teach us that however expensive the outside, the pnimiyus (internals) is far more valuable. We can not begin to understand the value of our neshama (soul). Our value of life and our display of decency has terribly diminished in recent times.
