Description

A vigorous and active person who does not use his sechel (mind) is considered asleep, while a weak invalid who uses his sechel is considered awake. Sins which revolve around eating diminish our ability to perceive G-d; eating properly and with purity helps us perceive G-d. Our ability or inability to understand the world correctly can be seen on our face. All sins begin when a person looks where he is not supposed to look.
