Description

Listening to the music of impurity damages and destroys the malchus (royalty) of kedusha (holiness). How does one fix the crying out of the throat of impurity? If Torah is not pure, it won't repair the damage of the windpipe that comes from the songs of risha'im (wicked people). If we learn Torah she b'al peh (Oral Law), we can draw love and kindness upon ourselves. A deeper explanation of the Mishna in Pirkei Avos (Ethics of the Fathers), "Make for yourself a Rav, and acquire for yourself a friend".
